By using the MyWonderbag App, you are supporting projects that are helping to create a
cleaner environment.
In order to implement these projects, we need to ask you some personal questions, which
are used to track your use of the Wonderbag and how much carbon dioxide is taken out of
the atmosphere because thereof. Some information, such as your name and cell phone
number, are also used to communicate with you about projects, events, competitions, news,
health tips, and to update your details. This information is also necessary for the app to
work properly.
Some of your information may be shared with our carbon consultants, as well as
independent auditing companies and carbon oversight bodies, who may use it only to verify
that the information regarding the reduction in carbon dioxide is correct.
This information is kept for about 9 years, which is the standard duration of the carbon
project. After that period, it is destroyed or made anonymous, so that it is no longer linked
to you specifically. Where possible, the information is made anonymous even before the
end of this period.
Your information will be kept private and safe, in line with government regulations.
The app includes push messages or notifications which will be sent to you from time to time
about Wonderbag events, competitions, news, health tips and carbon projects. You may
choose to stop receiving such messages at any time by unsubscribing from the app. This
does mean that you will no longer be able to use the app.
If you agree, we may post photos or videos about you on social media platforms. If you give
us permission to do so, you understand that we will no longer control access to such
materials and they will be subject to the rules of those social media platforms. You can also
share your own content with other app users directly from the app. If you choose to do so,
you are agreeing that other users may access such content and you understand that we may
no longer be able to control access to it.
You have the right, at any time, to ask us to confirm what personal information we hold
about you and with who we have shared it. You may also ask us to correct or update any
incorrect information, or ask us to stop using your information. If you ask us to stop before
the 9-year period is over, we may need to keep some of the information (but we will make
this as little as possible) until the end of the carbon project. We will in such cases do our
best to make the information anonymous.
